Account & Subscription

6 items

Common questions about account registration, login, subscription links, and multi-device use.

Do I need an email address to sign up?

No. You only need a username and password to sign up — no email address or other personal information. Pick any username you like and use a sufficiently long password. After signing up, you can log in to the user panel immediately.

How many devices can I use with one subscription?

Unlimited. Sign in with the same account on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux clients — there's no cap on simultaneous devices. It's suitable for family sharing or multiple devices at work.

Where do I get my subscription link and client after signing in?

After logging in to the user panel, get your subscription link and the client for your platform from the "Download Client" section. The subscription link is generated for your account — import it into the client and you're ready. Both the client and subscription require login and are not available for public download.

How often does monthly data reset?

Monthly subscription data resets on the same day each month, based on your activation date rather than the calendar month. For example, if you activate on the 15th, your data resets on the 15th of every month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days.

Do I need to buy a new subscription when I switch devices?

No. Your subscription is tied to your account, not to any device. Install the client on a new device, sign in with the same account, and import your subscription link — unlimited devices.

How do I reset my password if I forget it?

Use the "Forgot Password" link on the user panel login page and follow the prompts to reset it. Once reset, log in with your new password — your subscription and data are unaffected.

Connection & Troubleshooting

6 items

Common questions about connection troubleshooting, rule-based mode, and client setup.

The client can't connect to the server. Where should I start troubleshooting?

Work through these in order: confirm your plan is still active, make sure the subscription link is the latest one shown in the panel, try switching to another route, and fully quit and restart the client. Most connection issues are resolved by re-importing the subscription or switching routes.

Why doesn't a specific app or website go through the proxy?

The client uses rule-based mode by default, so only traffic matching the rules goes through the international routes — some local apps still connect directly. If the service you want isn't covered by the rules, first check that the route region matches the service, then try switching to global mode. For apps involving local account security, we recommend keeping them on direct connection.

What should I do if it says my subscription has expired or data is used up?

First check your plan status: renew after a monthly subscription expires, or upgrade your plan or buy a data pack when data runs out. Once renewed or upgraded, copy the subscription link again and import it into the client to restore the connection.

Still can't connect after updating the subscription link?

After re-importing the link, fully quit the client and start it again. If it still fails, try another route and make sure the client is up to date. If multiple routes are all abnormal, try again later — the route status shown in the panel is authoritative.

What should I do if the connection is unstable on public Wi-Fi?

Public networks are unpredictable, so prioritize IEPL dedicated routes and test outside peak hours. If the connection is still unstable, switch to a different route region. On public Wi-Fi, connect first before logging in to accounts or visiting sensitive pages.

How do I install and set up the iOS client?

Get the iOS client from the App Store. After installing, copy your subscription link from the "Download Client" section of the user panel and import it into the client. If your App Store region doesn't match the client, see our hands-on review Best iPhone VPN: A Hands-On Review.

Speed & Routes

5 items

Common questions about route types and peak-hour stability.

What should I do about lag during peak evening hours?

Peak evening hours (roughly 7 PM to 11 PM) are when international routes see the heaviest use. Prioritize IEPL dedicated routes — these point-to-point enterprise-grade lines stay more stable than relay or direct routes during peak times. Once you've picked a route, stay connected and avoid switching frequently.

What's the difference between IEPL dedicated, relay, and direct routes?

IEPL dedicated routes are point-to-point enterprise-grade lines with the best stability during peak hours, ideal for latency-sensitive tasks. Relay routes forward traffic through intermediate nodes and offer great value. Direct routes connect you to the nearest entry point and are smooth for everyday browsing. Every route in the list is labeled by type, so you can choose based on your use case.

How do I choose a route based on the service I want to use?

For AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), choose Hong Kong or US routes first. For streaming, pick the region matching the content library — Singapore for Netflix, Hong Kong for YouTube. For everyday browsing, just choose the nearest route. The client's route list is grouped by region for easy switching.

Why do the latency numbers on routes fluctuate?

Latency is a real-time reference value affected by your local network, route load, and time of day, so it naturally fluctuates. Judge route quality by your actual connection experience — the stability advantage of IEPL dedicated routes is most noticeable during peak hours.

Can I keep using the service after my data runs out?

Once your monthly data is used up, you can wait for the next reset, upgrade your plan, or buy a data pack. Data packs last until fully used and never expire, making them ideal when you need extra data temporarily.

Billing & Refunds

6 items

Common questions about payment methods, plan tiers, refunds, and data packs.

What payment methods are supported?

We support Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. After payment, you can check your order status in the "Orders" section of the user panel.

What is the refund policy?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, submit a ticket through the user panel and our support team will process it.

Do data packs expire?

No. Data packs last until fully used and never expire. Three tiers are available: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Buy once and keep them for as long as you need.

How is a mid-cycle plan upgrade calculated?

Monthly subscriptions can be upgraded mid-cycle, with the price difference prorated by remaining days. For example, upgrading from the 60GB tier to the 500GB tier only requires paying the prorated difference — no need to buy a whole new month.

How do I choose among the three monthly plans?

There are three monthly plans: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. Choose the 60GB plan for light use, or the 500GB plan for heavy daily use or family sharing.

What should I do if the payment went through but my plan isn't active?

First refresh the user panel and check the order status. If the order shows as successful but the plan still isn't active, submit your order details via a ticket and our support team will help verify and resolve it.
